I thought we’d start the year with some soulmate – fated mate – bonded kind of books. I believed I’d already done a list like this, but I don’t think I have. I have the interspecies couple list and it got me thinking I had one with fated mates, too.
This month’s release is Squirrel Circus which will be out on January 21st, which happens to be National Squirrel Appreciation Day. And if you haven’t guessed it by now, it’s a fated mates story.

Normally, I don’t associate vampires with fated mates, but there are blood bonds and in some stories, they do have fated mates just like shifters do.

I could put these in with the animal half of the pairing, but then I thought about the A Charm of Magpies books, and those are not fated mates per se, but in the second book they’re linked by… *clears throat* magic, so I’m including them. And I’ll only include Heabreaker, but he entire series fits this list, and if you haven’t read that series, I highly recommend it.
